Vocalo.org Version 2.0 - New Social Media Tools!

Congratulations to CTC's Vocalo team on a successful launch of Vocalo.org 2.0! The new version of Vocalo includes:

  • new media tools for sharing and mixing audio, video, images, and blog posts
  • phone-to-podcast feature allows podcasts to be recorded directly to the site via telephone
  • new content dashboards for exploring content and users
  • new Ajax "shoutbox" feature allows real-time chat between radio hosts and listeners
  • design overhaul incorporating new features in a user-friendly manner

The new Vocalo.org is one of the first major sites built with Drupal 6. CTC will now be working on releasing newly-developed functionality back to the community; stay tuned for updates!
