CTC Presenting At Drupalcon Szeged: GIS, Media, and More...
The countdown to Drupalcon Szeged continues! Five CTC members will be attending this year's European Drupalcon, held in the city of Szeged, Hungary. This week we learned that all of our proposed presentations and sessions have been accepted:
- Rebecca White, assisted by Brandon Bergren and Jim Craner, will be presenting a session on the current and future state of geospatial software in Drupal.
- Rebecca and Brandon will also be leading a "Birds of a Feather" session demonstrating the use of Drupal as a platform for quickly building map-based mashup sites.
- Tom Wolf and David Eads will be formally introducing our new community media platform, Scald, and demonstrating its use running the Vocalo.org site.
- David Eads and a few colleagues from other organizations will be co-presenting two jQuery sessions for developers.
We're very excited about this event and we can't wait to connect face-to-face with our Drupal colleagues from around the world!
CTC dissolved in 2010 and its members moved on to other nonprofit technology, website development, and application development opportunities. Nonprofit organizations seeking website assistance can contact Jim Craner or Jacob Roufa. Employers seeking to verify employment of former CTC members can use this form.
