CTC Releases New Online Mapping Software For Drupal
We're happy to announce that we have released new officially-supported versions of Location.module and Gmap.module for Drupal, which allow organizations using Drupal to:
- easily add interactive Google maps to their websites
- display a map of all website users (CiviCRM integration coming soon!)
- tie physical locations to existing Drupal functionality, using CCK, Views, and many other modules with the updated Location API.
Location 3.0 and Gmap 1.0 are available from the Drupal.org repositories for both currently supported versions of Drupal, v5 and v6. In addition, upgrade paths are available for users of Drupal 4.x's Location. CTC staff offer volunteer support in the drupal.org support queue for these modules. You can find out more about these releases, and join the Drupal GIS/mapping affinity group, here:http://groups.drupal.org/node/17497
CTC dissolved in 2010 and its members moved on to other nonprofit technology, website development, and application development opportunities. Nonprofit organizations seeking website assistance can contact Jim Craner or Jacob Roufa. Employers seeking to verify employment of former CTC members can use this form.
