CTC Presents at NTC '09: Low-Cost Mapping Tools for Nonprofits

Congratulations to GIS Team Lead Jim Craner who presented a packed session at this year's Nonprofit Technology Conference in San Francisco: "Free and Low-Cost Mapping Tools."  The session, co-presented with Benji Burrell of Appalachian Voices, focused on the basics of GIS (geographic information systems) in a nonprofit context, showing plenty of examples of how nonprofits are using these tools to tell their stories.  You can see more details about the presentation at the NTEN website.
